I had the amazing opportunity to photograph the firm Seyfarth Shaw LLP for the cover of iSixSigma magazine, which is coming out in the Fall. Between the extraordinary contemporary location of the firm’s location, near the Boston World Trade Center, and the enthusiasm of the attorneys, it was a great shoot!

September 16, 2009Francesca & Bob – Charter Oak Country Club, Hudson MA
February 6, 2009Francesca & Bob were married on February 1, 2008. I’ve always heard that if it rains on your wedding day, it is good luck! Well…Francesca & Bob had buckets of good luck! There was this overwhelming presence of spirit and happiness that increased with every drop of rain!
There are always moments at every wedding, when I feel so fortunate to do what I do…to document love. From the moment I arrived at Francesca’s parents’ house, to photograph the first chapter of the day, her Mom and Dad were just as concerned about feeding me and my assistant, as they were about getting ready themselves! It felt like we were part of the family. The house was filled with so much activity but, it unfolded brilliantly! It was not surprising since Francesca is a professional organizer who works with people in their homes and businesses to reduce clutter and build systems for better efficiency. She is amazing!
So, it was off to Saint Anslem’s Church, in Sudbury, for a beautifully lit and graceful wedding. Francesca’s grandfather, who is a Deacon in the Catholic church, presided over the wedding, which made it so special. From there, we left for the Charter Oak Country Club in Hudson, MA., The Grand Ballroom with its’ wonderful chandeliers, beautiful French doors and floor to ceiling windows was charming yet had such a comfortable feeling. The “First Dance”…what can I say….it was out of this world! Francesca and Bob were graceful and romantic all at once! The guests were mezmorized! The rest of the evening was all about the good food and superb music. The dance floor was always full, because the band was soooo good! “Double Vision” is the name of the band, and Francesca told me that Steve Ciccolini was a dream to work with! www.cherylevine.com.
Samantha & John – World Trade Center
February 2, 2009Sam and John’s Wedding took place in 2007, and though it’s a few years back, I really wanted to share the experience and the images. They are such an amazing couple! Capturing their day began at the Newton Marriott, then to Regis College, and then off to the reception at the Boston World Trade Center. Everyone had such a blast! We couldn’y ask for a better day! Indoors or outdoors, I never lacked enough light…the formals at Regis College were a natural, with the gorgeous patio backdrop. Then we finished off at the World Trade Center, during sunset, capturing Boston’s skyline, and the fantastic rows of flags. The diningroom was esquisite! the colors and lighting were warm, rich and elegant. www.cherylevine.com
Amy and Adam The Liberty Hotel, Boston MA
January 20, 2009The Liberty Hotel, in downtown Boston MA, is the best of both worlds…views of the city and of the Charles River! The day began in the “Presidential Suite” photographing Amy & Adam with that spectacular backdrop! It was on this balcony, where they saw each other for the first time, on their wedding day. The suite was filled with family and friends sharing this special moment. The day unfolded from the balcony, to the ceremony, and then to the beautiful ballroom. The Liberty Hotel is not only a historical Boston landmark, but also a chic, contemporary venue. www.cherylevine.com
Jessica and Kevin 9/6/08 The Bradley Estate
December 30, 2008What a blast! Between the beauty and warmth of the Bradley Estate, and the passionate celebration of all who attended, the captured moments never ended! The Bradley Estate is just a few minutes from downtown Boston, and I always feel as if I am entering into a world of tranquility and nature, when entering their long and curvy driveway. Jessica and Kevin’s day was filled with love, laughter, and lots of dancing! The Bridal suite is one of the best…lots of beautiful light! www.cherylevine.com
Amy and Michael 11/22/08 Newport, RI
December 29, 2008I love ocean front weddings! Bell Mer, on Goat Island in Newport RI, is such an elegant and chic venue. Right after capturing the shots of Amy getting ready, at the oceanview Hyatt Regency next door, we walked to Belle Mer. The moment we arrived, I was taken back with the floor to ceiling windows, overlooking the Narragansett Bay! It was a windy day so, we photographed the formals right in front of those huge floor to ceiling windows. The gorgeous light and scenic view was never compromised…and Amy didn’t have to worry about her veil flying off into the sunset! After the ceremony, I photographed Amy and Michael in front of the fireplace…perfect for November! www.cherylevine.com
